Visiting the website
When you visit, connection data needed to deliver the website is transmitted to the hosting infrastructure. This includes your IP address, the requested file, the time of the request and technical information provided by your browser. Processing serves website delivery and operational security, based on our legitimate interest in a reliable, secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Fonts, images and videos
Fonts, images and videos are served with this website. No external font services, video players or social media content are embedded. Links to other websites connect you to the respective provider only when you open them.
Cookies and local storage
This website uses no analytics or advertising services, tracking cookies or other methods of tracking your browsing behaviour. The language is selected through the page address. The website does not profile you or make automated decisions about you. Brevo is contacted only by the server when the contact form is submitted; no Brevo scripts are loaded in your browser.
The privacy notice explains the technology in use. Selecting “Understood” dismisses the notice; it does not give consent to analytics or advertising services. Only after this click does the site write a record under artac.privacy-notice in your browser's localStorage to remember that you acknowledged this version of the notice.
The record contains only the notice version (version: 1), the acknowledgement time (acknowledgedAt) and the expiry time (expiresAt). It contains no visitor identifier and is not transmitted to our server or third parties. The acknowledgement is valid for 180 days. This is the duration we have chosen for this feature, not a legally prescribed period. After expiry, the entry is removed on the next visit if the browser allows storage access. The notice then appears again, as it does for an invalid entry.
This storage serves only to remember your choice to dismiss the notice. It applies to both the German and English versions on the same website origin. You can reopen the details at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Reset removes only this record and displays the notice again; it does not delete other browser data.
If your browser prevents storage, acknowledgement is remembered only in memory for the currently open page. A message explains that the choice could not be saved; the notice may appear again when you reload or open another page.
Contacting us
When you submit the contact form, your name, email address and any optional organisation and message details are transmitted to our server. After the request is checked, these details are sent through Brevo as a transactional email to our company contact address. Your email address is used as the reply-to address so that we can respond directly.
We use this information to handle your enquiry. Enquiries concerning a potential contract are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other business enquiries are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The same applies if you email us directly. Submitting the form does not trigger an automatic reply or subscribe you to a newsletter.
Protecting the contact form
To limit repeated requests, the server temporarily keeps IP-based counters in memory. This processing protects the form against abuse and is based on our legitimate interest in an available, secure contact form under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Recipients and retention
Hosting and email service providers, including Brevo for message delivery, may process data in delivering their services. Brevo receives the contact and message details used for sending. Further information is available in Brevo's privacy policy. Data is disclosed to authorities where legally required.
The website application does not maintain a database of form enquiries or write form data to its own application logs. Separately, Brevo may store delivery logs and message content, and our email mailbox may store delivered messages. This storage is governed by the respective provider terms and configured retention settings. Contact correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, meet applicable legal obligations, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable conditions, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. Any consent you have given may be withdrawn with effect for the future.
Please contact hello@artac.at to exercise your rights. You may complain to a competent supervisory authority, including the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, Austria.
